UTILITA — TERMS OF USE & TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Introduction
Welcome to Utilita, a digital financial platform operating under the Service Level Agreement (SLA) of Safe Haven Microfinance Bank, duly licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). By accessing or using our Android or iOS application, website, or any of our services, you agree to these Terms of Use and Terms & Conditions.
These terms govern your access to and use of the Utilita platform.
2. Eligibility
To use Utilita services, you must:
Be at least 18 years old.
Possess a valid means of identification.
Provide accurate registration details (Email, Phone, BVN, etc.).
We reserve the right to decline registration or suspend your account for non-compliance or fraudulent activity.
3. Services Provided
Utilita offers financial technology services including:
Digital Payments
Savings & Wallet Services
Utility Bill Payments
Transfers & Financial Transactions
All services provided on Utilita are powered by Safe Haven Microfinance Bank’s infrastructure.
4. User Obligations
You agree to:
Provide accurate and updated personal information.
Keep your login credentials confidential.
Use the platform for lawful and personal financial purposes only.
Notify us immediately of any suspicious activity on your account.
5. Fees and Charges
Utilita may charge service fees or transaction commissions which will be communicated transparently. Third-party charges (including bank fees) may also apply.
6. Limitation of Liability
Utilita is not liable for:
Delays or failures in services caused by network providers or third parties.
Unauthorized access to your account due to your negligence.
Loss of funds arising from inaccurate transaction details provided by the user.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Utilita platform including logo, design, text, graphics, and software are the exclusive property of Utilita and Safe Haven Microfinance Bank.
8. Privacy Policy
Our Privacy Policy governs how we collect, store, and protect your data. By using Utilita, you consent to our data practices as outlined in our Privacy Policy.
9. Service Availability
Utilita aims for 99% uptime but does not guarantee uninterrupted access due to maintenance, technical issues, or regulatory requirements.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Utilita if you:
Violate any of these terms.
Engage in fraudulent or suspicious activity.
Breach applicable laws or regulations.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
